Vad tillägget gör

Webbläsartillägget Edith för Chrome (även Microsoft Edge) för in en journalanteckning eller ett dokument som du redan har skrivit och granskat i Edith i det fält du har markerat i ditt eget journalsystem.

Vilka uppgifter tillägget hanterar

Texten du klistrar in i tilläggets panel, eller som Edith-appen lämnar över direkt till tillägget. Texten kan innehålla hälsoinformation och andra personuppgifter.

Endast Ediths egna webbadresser kan lämna över text till tillägget: app.edithcare.se, app.edithcare.uk och app.edithcare.us, samt test- och utvecklingsmiljöerna test.edithcare.se och dev.edithcare.se. Ingen annan webbplats kan skicka något till det.

Hur uppgifterna hanteras

Texten finns bara i webbläsarens minne medan du använder panelen och försvinner när fliken stängs. Tillägget:

  • •skickar ingenting över nätverket, varken till Edith Care eller till någon annan
  • •sparar ingenting på enheten (ingen lagring, inga cookies, inget urklipp)
  • •läser inga sidor förrän du klickar på tilläggets ikon, och då bara den aktuella fliken
  • •innehåller ingen analys, spårning eller reklam

Delning och försäljning

Edith Care samlar inte in, säljer eller delar några uppgifter via tillägget. Eftersom inga uppgifter lämnar din enhet finns det inga mottagare eller underbiträden för tillägget.

Behörigheter

Tillägget använder bara två behörigheter, och ingen behörighet till några webbplatser i förväg:

  • •activeTab – ger tillgång till den flik du klickade på, bara vid det klicket
  • •scripting – används för att visa panelen och föra in texten i den fliken

Uppgifter i själva Edith-tjänsten omfattas av Ediths integritetspolicy.

Privacy policy – Edith for Chrome

The Edith for Chrome extension inserts a note or document you have already written and reviewed in Edith into the field you have focused in your own journal system. It handles the text you paste into its panel or that the Edith app hands to it, which may contain health information. Only Edith’s own sites can hand text to it: app.edithcare.se, app.edithcare.uk and app.edithcare.us, plus the test and development environments test.edithcare.se and dev.edithcare.se. That text lives only in browser memory while you use the panel and is gone when the tab closes. The extension sends nothing over the network, stores nothing on the device (no storage, cookies or clipboard), reads no page until you click its icon and then only the current tab, and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising. Edith Care does not collect, sell or share any data through the extension. Its only permissions are activeTab and scripting, used to show the panel and insert the text in the tab you clicked.
